GOOD NEWS FOUNDATION

Be A HERO is partnering with the Good News Foundation through our Child Sponsorship Program at the Hope House in Andrah Pradesh, India.

The Good News Foundation was the vision of Dr. Theodore Wesley, an Indian pastor and evangelist dedicated to sharing the love of Jesus Christ through practical and life-changing ministry to India’s orphans and its people.  Dr. Wesley has his doctorate degree in theology. 

While doing missions work in India, Dr. Wesley encountered many children living on the streets without parents or relatives to care for them.  He was burdened by their plight.  He launched Good News Foundation in 1989 with a far-reaching aim to provide orphans with a place to live and proper nutrition, education, health care and skills to equip them for adulthood. 

Since GNF’s inception, it has established five orphanages and has expanded its mission to include a Bible college to train pastors for church planting, as well as a 24-hour center dedicated to praying for the needs of India and the world.  They also have a small sewing center to train widows and prostitutes, but currently have no place for them to live.
