AFRICAN REVIVAL MINISTRIES

Be A Hero partners with African Revival Ministries, to raise funds for their operating expenses (through our Child Sponsorship Program), and new buildings at their children’s home in Bujumbura, Burundi.

The children’s home operated by ARM is called C.R.I.B., which stands for Children Rescued in Burundi. The ARM International is an international NGO based in United Kingdom and operating in central and western Africa. The organisation is particularly active in the Great Lakes Region (Burundi, Rwanda and Congo). In West Africa it is operating in Senegal.

David NDARUHUSTE founded the ARM in Great Britain in 1994. He died in a plane crash in Eastern Congo in 1997 and was succeeded by Edmond KIVUYE, the International Director, based in Burundi.

The organisation particularly targets the poor and most marginalised sections of the society with an aim of achieving lasting and sustainable development of the people by improving their basic living standards, through delivery of health and education services as well as income opportunities.
