The charge makes our blood run cold. We protest - "who me?" - and our minds immediately begin to reel off the reasons why not.
Yet this is the cry resonating throughout the earth. YOU are being challenged to enlist in the noblest of all battles - the battle for mercy and justice. 1.2 billion 'children at risk' because of poverty, homelessness, child labour, slavery, sexual exploitation, AIDS and plagues, and war cannot be ignored. Dying kids on our doorstep is what loving our neighbor is all about! Each of us, regardless of age or position, can “Be A HERO”.
